This is a simple yet beautiful song which sums up much of my own experience. I hope you enjoy...

Remember when we were lovers? We use to be together every Sunday and Wednesday. With you I experienced beauty and pain. You taught me what it meant to be a man. You taught me right from wrong. Through the songs and sermons I learned I was a part of a great army which could not be conquered. The world was ours if we wanted it and, soon enough, it was going to be ours because it was our rightful inheritance. Do you remember?
Nothing could take me away from you. You had my heart and dedication, but you cheated.
While you romanced me with your promises of freedom you were sleeping with injustice. While you enraptured me with your theatrics of spirituality, you were giving yourself away to hatred. While you became my all in all, you walked by without any care for the dying and oppressed. I can not see you anymore because of the whore I know you to be now. I can not be with you anymore because I can not trust you. I can not be with you anymore because you are the oppressor. I can not be with you anymore because when you said you were love, you were fucking fear.
You’re just another religion. You’re just another church. You’re nothing to me.
